For the golf enthusiast, SouthWood Golf Club is a highly ranked, challenging, semi-private Fred Couples signature course. The course offers exciting golf in a spectacular setting. SouthWood Golf Club is designed for professional tournament play as well as a teaching course comfortable for family play. Each hole features six sets of tees - from the 7,172 yard "Boom Boom" tees (a Couples signature) to the "Wee" tees set for women, children, and beginners at 2,696 yards. In addition, the "Wee" tees present a unique opportunity for a par 3 format on 17 of 18 holes, giving all golfers a chance to focus on their ever-important short game.

If you need an extra sleeve of balls or a new golf shirt, the Club's Golf Shop has what you need. After your round of golf, enjoy lunch at the Club. The club serves lunch and light dinners seven days a week as well as brunch breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. 

SouthWood Golf Club has been ranked "Tallahassee's Best Golf Course" by Tallahassee Magazine in 2006 and 2007. The SouthWood Golf Club is also a home of the Florida State University Men's and Women's Golf Teams, always ranked as a NCAA perennial powerhouse.
